The robins are here in mass,
big fat robins,
drinking from the fountain,
eating the red berries,
flitting about,
scratching in the leaves,
being robinish,
welcome back.
And now two Stellars Jays,
inky indigo blue,
keeping track of the robins,
making sure they don't get anything good,
not wanting to miss a handout,
noisy but beautiful.
